I consider Taiwanese Mandarin, Taiwanese (Minnan/Hokkien), and American English my first languages. I also learned French in school. I would like to learn Japanese and Korean, but am content with picking up words here and there. I believe languages require constant learning and practice since I’ve observed my language abilities change over time. There’s always room for improvement!
I am interested in learning about history and cultures of the world. I hope to explore many aspects of languages and cultures in this blog.
I am also the author of the blog Learning Traditional Chinese Characters, where I am introducing Chinese characters taught in school in Taiwan.

好高興能找到你的部落格! 我也很喜歡學不同語言而我正想把我國語水平提高。我父母也來自臺灣，在家都會聽到他們說台語，但大部分我都用國語回話哈。我缺點是在講國語的時候有美國腔(超難聽)與讀寫能力不強，但有在學習就是了! 好厲害! 你也學法文~ 我正在大學學西班牙文。希望我以後能用到一點點也希望不會把它忘光光~
