Word of the week #15: 雪

雪 is the word for snow. There’s a massive snowstorm barreling through the northwestern and eastern portions of the United States this week. It is not the first major snowstorm of the year or this winter. However, I think this particular storm has resulted in the most airport problems so far.

Chinese: 雪 (xue)
Japanese: 雪 (ゆき; yuki)
Korean: 설 (seol)

Did it snow today?
(This question will probably result in drastically different responses: the U.S. has too much snow and Beijing is lacking in snow.)
