“Let’s really save Half Dome”
On the subject of people petitioning for a third railing on Half Dome, I wholeheartedly agree with Jon Carroll’s opinion.

I caught a bit of the U.S. Women’s Open and saw Ai Miyazato rocking knee-high socks on the green. I like the look!

“Ai Weiwei accepts teaching job in Germany”
The Berlin University of the Arts offered Ai Weiwei a guest professorship. However, Ai cannot leave China until next June.

“China Presses Its Tax Case in Dispute With Artist”
A hearing was held regarding the tax case against Beijing Fake Cultural Development Ltd., the design company that handles Ai Weiwei’s work.

“Carmageddon ends: 405 Freeway reopens to traffic”
Carmageddon has come and even ended early. Good job Los Angeles!

“Japan beat U.S. to win women’s World Cup”
Congrats to Japan and a World Cup win. They are the first Asian country to win the World Cup.
