I never knew the English name of 台南風味小吃. Actually, I didn’t really know the full Chinese name of the restaurant either. I just call it 台南小吃. One look at the menu (pdf) just makes me giddy. The menu lists at least 810 different dishes. All of them are dishes that I remember having in Taiwan. Not only that, there are dishes that are specific to 台南 that makes this restaurant even more special. The 臭豆腐 is exactly as I remember it, since it is my favorite snack food. I don’t think there’s a dish on the menu that I would not consider ordering. It will just take me a while to get through them all. However, short of hopping on a plane and flying to Taiwan, where else would I get authentic Taiwanese food?
